I learned it by leading some of the world's most highly skilled professionals. On the ground and in the air — with soldiers counting on me to get it RIGHT the first time.

Flying in hostile territory. At night. In mountainous terrain. Landing on ships. Flying in foreign countries. We all depended on each other to survive.

40+ years across four careers — U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army, law enforcement, and executive coaching — taught me one thing above everything else:
